FDR’s Cane
Robert Morgan is one of our Club’s biggest fount of historical information – much of it through personal experience.
Robert brought in a little show-and-tell item this week; one of a series of canes made for President Theodore Roosevelt. Robert told us that it was given to him recently by an old friend of his who’s father had been a doctor at the time of Roosevelt’s presidency. The cane came into his possession, and he had passed it down to her.
