The Rotary Club of Lillington’s Annual Cornelius Harnett Charity Gala was a smashing success! The Gala, held on March 13at the Harnett County Government Commons enjoyed Leon Jordan and the Continentals playing a variety of music people love to dance to and feasted on amazing hors d’oeuvres. A special announcement was made by United States Congressman, Bob Etheridge about an important loan made by USDA Rural Development to aid in the development of a new hospital to be located in Lillington. The crowd this year was as large as ever, and the Club raised more than $15,000 toward community and world-wide service project. Many thanks to all who attended, and especially to our sponsors – this would not have been a success without all of your support.
