The Lillington Rotary Club’s annual Cornelius Harnett Charity Gala was another rousing success this year. The Government Commons Center once again proved to be a favorite for the location, with  Leon Jordan and his orchestra entertained guests with music for swing and dance. Guests showed off their dancing skill, especially after having taken some lessons from Jeff Paschal and his fiance, Brenda in the week before the Gala.  When the orchestra took a break, contemporary dance music was played, courtesy of Rotarian Bill Hobbs.

The buffet was filled with delicious fare both warm and cold, and tea and water were supplied, as well as coffee.

Despite a recession, our sponsors and guests were generous and helped to raise more than $15,000  for the Rotary Club of Lillington’s local and world-wide projects.

A great big "thank you!" goes out to all of our generous guests and sponsors!
