Lillington Rotarians enjoyed the holidays with food, fun and fellowship at the Barrington House in Dunn on Thursday, December 18.

The location was beautifully decorated and we were entertained by live piano.  The meal was sumptuous, with ham, chicken, green beans, red new-potatoes, salad, and dessert offered up.

After handing out our new tickets for the Cornelius Harnett Annual Gala for members to sell, President Peter Strickland announced we had, so far, raised over $1000 for the Salvation Army with our volunteer bell-ringing over the last four weeks (and we still have one last weekend to go), and that the 50/50 raffle for the Polio Plus Foundation had raised enough to provide the winner with more then $1,000.

Afterward we all had fun with a "Chinese Gift Exchange" game which proved to be very competitive!

Happy holidays to all!

Of the things we think, say or do

    1. Is it the TRUTH?
