Visit from District Governor, Tim Mannix

We were honored by a visit from our new District Governor, Tim Mannix and his wife, Kathy on July 20. Tim spoke to us about Rotary International’s four objectives for this year, and about a program he has asked the district clubs to commit to.

The new club Presidents in District 7710 have committed to a program where we will pay for, package and ship ONE MILLION MEALS in this Rotary year to undernourished people around the world. Our Rotarians Against Hunger (RAH) committee will lead this program.

RI President’s objectives RI President Bill Boyd has set 1) Clean water, 2) Hunger 3) Literacy, and 4) the Family of Rotary as his objectives for next year. This program of ours will address three of the four areas he has asked us to work on.
